The real estate market across King County, the Eastside, and Bainbridge Island continued its upward swing in March. Inventory is rising, buyer activity is climbing, and median home prices remain strong despite some softening on Bainbridge. The Eastside remains a firm seller’s market, with only 1.6 months of supply. Buyer demand is strong—436 homes sold in March, a 45.3% jump from February. We also saw a 57.7% increase in new listings, bringing more options to buyers who’ve been waiting on the sidelines.
King County overall shows a healthy balance. While homes are selling a bit slower (25 average CDOM), pricing power remains in sellers’ hands:
Bainbridge saw a surge in new listings, jumping 133.3% month-over-month, and sales followed suit, up 80% MoM.
