The rest of First Hill is predominantly residential, exuding a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This neighborhood was mostly developed in the 1940s – 1960’s, but many of the original homes have been torn down and replaced with new custom homes. This neighborhood is known for its beautiful homes, many of which boast stunning views of Lake Washington and the Olympic Mountains.

Being so close to the town center, First Hill is also a popular walking and biking neighborhood. Throughout First Hill are pathways, stairs, and trails that lead to the lakefront, parks, and the downtown business district.
